John There are some pretty inaccurate lists on this website, some of it attributable to categories or ratings being finicky at the best of times. But how does a list of (ostensibly) five books contain six books?

Reilly: Ace of Spies is, quite simply, not ranked in Furst's list of top (I'll remind you) five spy novels of all time. Please double-check my arithmetic, but I believe that if you remove Lockhart's book you'll find that the revised list comes out to five books.

Astonishing.
