Jesus Christ, a book by Madeline Albright, who spearheaded the US sanctions that murdered half a million Iraqi children- and when she was confronted about it responded "we think the price is worth it." A mass murderer is the face of #resistance? If so, the #resistance is a fraud.

The fact abut a third of the books are about Putin and Russia wreaks of anti-Russia hystericism, pimping for a new Cold War. The old Cold War the USA used to spread actual Fascism around the world, like the Contra death squads in Nicaragua, Guatemala, and El Salvador, the Suharto regime in Indonesia which murdered a million socialists, communists, feminists, labor leaders, and environmentalists, the CIA destruction of the Italian and Greek communist movements through the empowerment of Italian and Greek Fascists and Mafioso, the US prevention of West German de-Nazification, the list goes on and is very, very long.

A book by Tim Snyder, who has made a lavishly rewarded, highly paid career out of equivocating Communism with Nazism and who hustled hysterical predictions about the death of democracy under Trump. No doubt he's back to brunch now with Biden in office.

Several books claim Republicans have "gone crazy" in the last few years, as if they weren't always crazy, as if Democrats weren't also crazy. As if Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton weren't brutal racists who race-baited their way through tax cuts for the rich, the elimination of welfare, and wars of aggression abroad. As if JFK and LBJ's murder of 3 million Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Laos wasn't crazy.

This isn't a book list to educate, this is a book list to propagandize for US empire, to white-wash US history, and to war-monger against Russia.
