Recently, I posted asking folks to name chapters of an book-never-written called "Adulting: the Missing Manual," and got a lot of good, earnest answers.

Adulting is this challenging, endless activity that's seemingly necessary to stay alive and participate in modern society. I can't believe we didn't have a word for it before Millennials!

But we don't have to figure it all out. Like, we can stand on the shoulders of giants for this one.

I don't know about you, but I climb giants by reading books. So I have created a Goodreads "Adulting" reading list that we can all quasi-democratically add books to. I'm hoping it will fill up with good, practical treatises on all the shit we're supposed to know, from professional relationships, and personal finance to maintaining our health w/ sleep, diet, whatever the fuck else, the unknown-unknowns.
