These fiction books written for adults leave you wanting more of that warm feeling inside. May include Mary-Sue like women with few faults (they don't have to), but are also women who stand up for themselves. While many literary romance titles fall into this category, books that might be more women's and regular fiction and without romance may be included. Literary is meant broadly so as to mean books without the formulas often found in genres. May include different styles of writing, both contemporary and historical fiction. Titles may be written by men. Novels that celebrate feminist women welcome but they must also be escapes for the reader, a high bar.
