Melissa Cooper A House Without Mirrors by Mårten Sandén This is a translated Swedish book that is classified as a horror. I feel it has a more important message about death and grief. It takes you through a family trying to cope with an ailing relative and their different reactions. The main character travels through a room to another time, where she learns about herself and her family. With a surprise and touching ending, it would a group a lot to discuss and some potential for some thoughtful connections.

Melissa Cooper We Will Not Be Silent The White Rose Student Resistance Movement That Defied Adolf Hitler by Russell Freedman Sorry! I added the book to the list when I was only half way finished reading it. A section just popped up about a boy being persecuted for being in a gay relationship and the word 'bastard' has appeared. I've added it to the Mature list but can't seem to remove it from here. Apologies.
