Have you read a novel where an (adult) character displays the symptoms of ADHD but hasn't been given that diagnosis by the author.

1. Ability to hyperfocus on a single task.
2. Struggles to multitask and will jump from task to task without completing any of them.
3. Notices tiny details other people don't, but not aware of the bigger picture.
4. Impulsiveness. Often makes decisions "in the now" without considering the long-term consequences.
5. Excessive energy or restlessness. Low tolerance of people/things that frustrate them.
6. Disorganised and has problems prioritising.
7. Sensitive to noise, crowds, a broken nail, or labels in clothes.

Katie Oh! I never considered Agatha Raisin to have ADHD but then again I’ve only realised I have ADHD in the last few months. I loved that series. I’ve read them all

Yeah, up until last August I thought ADHD was just about overactive boys, but then I discovered that it also includes 70-year-old women who have spent their lives running in all directions and usually arriving late or at an unplanned destination. Like me. 🙄 Now I am seeing more of us in books as well as IRL. Looks like I need to meet Agatha Raisin!
