It's been a long time since I read either, but I remember thinking Ghostwritten was better executed than Cloud Atlas (unpopular opinion, I know). I'd definitely place Thousand Autumns above The Bone Clocks too.

This must be a really neglected list... Utopia Avenue wasn't even on the list before I got here (added it!).

Personally, I tried to get into it when it first came out but didn't for some reason--possibly the era didn't appeal as much? But I just recently realized I hadn't read it and MAN was it a great ride.

Still rank Ghostwritten and The Bone Clocks above it, tho.
