Books that helped me get over the post-Panem depression I had when I finished Mockingjay, including the book that started it all.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads What, may I ask, is "post-panem" depression? Linguistically it would suggest "after bread" depression, which makes no sense to me.

Bettie Panem is a place in the Mockinjay series, so I presume Sarah is talking about the sense of loss she felt after the trilogy and the books that helped her get over the grief.

Is that right Sarah?

Of course to vote on this list, it would follow that one would have to share that despair.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads Ah! That might explain it, then.

You had the Latin connection right though:

panem et circenses

The trilogy is born out of that phrase

Haha, yes, I am referring to the daze that follows finishing the Hunger Games series. Linguistically I can see that this wouldn't make much sense, but hopefully lovers of the Hunger Games will understand what I'm trying to do!
