I love it too! But the whole world (except you) hates it because she dies!

SO WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DIE SOMEDAY TOO BUT THAT HASN'T RUINED ANY **** STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well you can make the story of my life and people are going to be sobbing about it later I can bet you! They will call it "sad" and "awful" and you can tell me their reactions when you come up there with me!!!
Who says you're going to die first?
Well if you want me to die so bad I'll just kill myself! Who has my suiside hotline card?! (for those of you who go around looking at peoples profiles for hints about suiside I am joking)
ERIN! What did Mrs. H say about killing yourself??
That's right she didn't say anything!
Actually I think she'd be happy if we kicked the bucket.
You know what else is sad we are having a discussion about suicide/death on a public page...
"13 Reasons Why" , was one of the best books and saddest, that i have read in a long time, the author is crazy good.
New Moon is sad.... sad in that it is so lame. But Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was sad, I cried every time someone died.
I know, but it made it more realistic, if there really was a magic battle like that a lot of people could have died in so many different ways.
Deathly Hallows is sad, but I think the saddest book if all time is The Book Thief...it's absolutely beautiful but you'll be sitting in a puddle of tears for the last 60-ish pages.
Thirteen Reasons Why...talk about a book that'll make you cry yourself to sleep when you finally finish it late the night you started it. :P Seriously, it's not possible to feel nothing reading that book.
I don't remember The Host being sad... but I may have blocked it from my memory since I didn't really like it.And I think I'm going to have to seek out Thirteen Reasons Why now....
I'm suprised at this list. I haven't read many of these books but, based on the ones of these I have read, I haven't found them to be very sad. I would put Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand at the top of this list, or top 3 at least.
I purused this list and didn't see The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. Such a sad book. Maybe I missed it but if not please add this one. I cried buckets. The Nightingale

it makes me imagine things immaginable like the 2 friends in this book.....
