Books whose negative reviews set free a gruesome avalanche of hairy, ugly, illiterate creatures, also known as Trolls.

Still going strong on being troll-less, but CoFA was a big one. A lot of my GR friends received trolls for that book.
The Bible and A Game of Thrones. Unless they were already added. I tend to tl;dr if there are more than ten items.
Cillian wrote: "Dude, I already had those."See, my attention span if for null. Told you, you already added the good ones. umm... Thirteen Reasons Why! Yes. I've seen trolls on the 1 stars. Hah.
I can't believe I forgot the Potter trolls. Me, Manny, and Beth argued with one for two days. It just wouldn't shut up. But, it was "kind of" intelligent. I'd give it that.
Oh, that's right. Remember we had that serious discussion with the one lady on Katya's review of GoF who insisted JK just had to be anti-feministic because none of the women had jobs after having kids (or the ones who did weren't married or mothers)? Then she went on to say stay at home mothers don't save families time and money. That woman frustrated me. I mean, I'm all for looking at the flaws in my favorite books. And I agree that Harry and Ron mistreated Hermione, but c'mon.
True... but they did also seem to appreciate her a lot too. They could be thoughtless though, especially Ron. But you see him trying to get better. I was disagreeing with someone's review of HP. I hope I did not sound like a troll.
Of all those books, I've only gotten trolls on my Halo and Hunger Games reviews ... There are some other books I can add to the list, though. ;)

I, generally, don't agree with her portrayal of women, nor do I really care for more than three or four characters, but not to the point where I think that she's a misogynist. Me and HP are kind of like me and Astrology. I used to be into it, really into it, but now? Meh. I really don't like discussing it with die hard fans.
But no, I wasn't referring to Kaethe, though I hate the way Hermione is treated by Ron and Harry, and no Synesthesia, I wasn't referring to you. Here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Synesthesia wrote: "ok. I'm trying to disagree but not be trolly and rude about it...Or agree..."
You were not trolly and rude. Not unless you stated: JRK IS A GEGNIUSNQ!!!!! WHY DO U NOT SEINERW!!!!!!!!!!!!@# EVERYTHEINF MAKEUES SENSE!!#@!

._.
I can't even understand what that says.

If i had never read them before and randomly picked it up tomorrow, I might have a different opinion. I've thought about re-reading them, but I just don't have the same motivation to plow through them like I once did. And I was truly obsessed at one point. But I agree with you, I don't think of JK as either a Feminist or anti-feminist. And at the same time, I agree with Synesthesia. Ron and Harry did also appreciate Hermione even when they forgot to show her. I can see where both sides are coming from. Interestingly, GoF was my least favorite of all the books.
But OMG, that guy from the link would drive me crazy.
Quick request: if anyone gets a Hush, Hush troll, please please please send them my way. I've never had a troll on my review for that book and I want one baaaaadly. I would break their tiny brains in half with the power of LOGIC.
Lol! Maybe I should actually write up a review for that book just to see if it would attract a troll.( I am planning a re-read after Twilight.) Probably not. Shhhhh....I'm invisible!
I got trolled on Divergent (my only troll - so far). I gave it four stars, didn't say anything nasty about it, but questioned the placement of religion. Almost everyone who's said that I'm wrong or stupid or ignorant about one paragraph on religion has deleted their comments.
Cillian: No, they're not; they have brains, biologically speaking; they just don't use them. Ever.Lissa: That's.... wow. Exemplary stupidity on the part of your trolls.
Archer wrote: "I feel left out... No one trolled my twishite review, or any of my less than praising reviews actually..."Don't feel too bad, Archer. I've yet to have my own cuddly little troll.
Lissa, I can't believe they had the nerve to troll a 4 star review. Sometimes I wonder about people. Lol.
Stephanie wrote: "Lissa, I can't believe they had the nerve to troll a 4 star review. Sometimes I wonder about people. Lol. "I had a little bit of a rant on the fact that religion was included in a dystopian with a religious-less society and one line in general that reflect Roth's background and upbringing. Some people took offence. I told them to fuck off. Politely.
I don't mean to be nitpicky, but an angry fan commenting on a negative review isn't what a troll really is.A troll is a person on the internet who deliberately throws out outrageous/contentious statements in hope of spurring public discord or wheedling an angry reaction from somebody. If I went onto a Star Wars message board and started a topic saying "Star Wars sucks!" in hope of making people angry, I would be trolling.

Anyway, I try not to be too nasty/scathing in my negative reviews, so as to not provoke these people. I don't have a very thick skin so I like to attract as little anger as possible.
