... by which I mean a novel that features two opposite principles or types which are reconciled during the story. I do not mean novels that merely have opposites in the title, such as War and Peace. Likewise Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde would not count, because they are not reconciled. Give it some thought: it's a fascinating way to structure a story!
