A list for YA titles that offer "something different, something unpredictable, unique, original, unforgettable."

We're looking for those gems of YA that don't rely heavily on tropes or cringe-worthy romances.

House rules:

🔹Spam titles will be removed.
🔹New adult titles and adult titles may be removed from the list.
🔹Extremely popular and well-known series titles such as Harry Potter aren't barred from the list, but in such cases the entire series will be consolidated as one title entry.
🔹Graphic novels are welcome, but any book falling too far below the YA reading age range will be removed. (Good Night Moon appears on one YA Listopia list. That will not happen here.)
🔹These rules are subject to change as needed to preserve the original aim of the list.
