message 1: by Marty (new)

Marty “Loving Someone Who Has Dementia” is primarily about care giving for dementia patients. “Rebellious Mourning” is about capitalist development and societal grief over societal issues, not about loss of one specific close person. “The Art of Losing” is poetry about grief, not non-fiction self-help about dealing with your grief. “Being With Dying” is about working with dying people, not about dealing with your grief after they have gone. “The Good Death” is about issues with dying in America, not about dealing with your grief after you have lost a person. “On Death and Dying” is about death, not about dealing with your grief after you have lost a person. “American Afterlife” is about memorializing the dead, not about dealing with your grief.
As noted in the description, I created this list for books which are helpful during grief and mourning for loss of a person close to you. I was hoping it would be helpful to me and to others in grieving for a person we lost. I am sad that it was corrupted with books that do not fit and that Goodreads will not delete them.
