I have not read any of these books- I suppose I shouldn't! :D

Aw, some of them were fun, such as Erin Hunter's books - the first series is good, the last two somewhat lame - but the endings were just sort of * sob * or in other cases completely ruining of the novel. But not necessarily ruining of the novel.

You can pick your own books to add if you can think of any that apply to the list, you know.

I disagree wholeheartedly w/"The Colorado Kid" being on this list (the narrative lends itself to the ending and it fits in perfectly w/the story) but "The Scarlet Letter" and "Hannibal" absolutely. The ending to "Hannibal" was trash.
