Lucky Stevens If you really want to hear about it, the first thing you'll probably want to know is where I was born, and what my lousy childhood was like, and how my parents were occupied and all before they had me, and all that David Copperfield kind of crap, but I don't feel like going into it, if you want to know the truth.

The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger.

Lucky Stevens Thanks Maud.

I'm going to throw out the opening line from my own book. I don't know if I'd put it in the category of "Best" (I'm not the most objective source in this particular case)but here goes:

THE TIMING, DEPENDING ON HOW YOU LOOK AT IT, WAS PERFECT. (prologue)

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU SHIT, MAKE LEMONADE. (Chapter 1)

Alright, I'm not Salinger, but who is?

LUCKY STEVENS, AUTHOR OF THE PULL OUT METHOD
