A list created by a librarian for public librarians. I am recommending major literary works written about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members.

This list does not generally include traditionally Latter-day Saint publishers (e.g., Deseret Book or Covenant), favoring books of quality from lesser known, but important, publishers. It also does not contain works by major Latter-day Saint authors who do not write about Latter-day Saints or the Church (e.g., Brandon Sanderson, Stephenie Meyer, etc). It also does not include so called "proper romances," again due to low to non-existent Latter-day Saint content.

The works I am including in this list are high quality works that deal specifically with members of the Church in a significant way.
