BookLovingLady (deceased Jan. 25, 2023...) Except for Black Beauty, which I watched on television as a child, I've read five of the books on this list and a sixth one, The Bell Jar, is waiting to be read. Not bad... :-)

J.D. Salinger wrote Frannie and Zooey, That's a novel.
