Please only add the edition of the book which was published in 2009. For example, to add "Jane Eyre," add isbn 030745519X.

Sorry, I added a book without taking into account that it was published pre 2009. Can't see a way to delete it, sorry again

I hope it's okay if I added Jane Eyre. I know the actual book wasn't published in 2009 of course but that specific edition with that cover is going to be published in April 2009 by Vintage and I absolutely love it.

:O)

I voted for 'View Points and Points of View', a square format with an extremely striking image. The title has been written in the form of an artistic logo and the sinister emu staring at you out of the darkness, dares you to undo the bolt to its shed/the book, and look inside. I did dare to look inside the book and was only too glad that I plucked up the courage.
I removed the DA VINCI CODE as I couldn't see how that could possibly be considered "of 2009." I love the new Jane Eyre cover. Kudos to whoever picked that. Some of this cover art is great, but a lot of it strikes me as pretty ho-hum. But we are entitled to our choices, I suppose.

So glad you did! I agree with you about many of these covers - and am I the only person who finds the cover to Dan Brown's new book to be extremely ugly??
There are some other books here that came out pre-2009 but I don't know how to remove them.

I think Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick has the best book cover of this year, but it's not on the list =(
Same here. Added a few books that weren't 2009 at all, no way to delete, but I blame the list's fault: It should be a lot shorter if it's just 2009 (a lot of those are not "good covers," like in the case of "Grave Goods" by Ariana Franklin)
I can't believe shiver is ahead of hush, hush and fallen. while its obvious that both have a better cover then shiver.

We can all agree on what was published in 2009 though. And there is a way to remove them, if anyone wants to say what those titles are.
Those are some great covers. My favorite cover of 2009 was "The Stolen Moon of Londor" a fantasy book by A.P. Stephens. Very nice artwork. Dark and mysterious.
Was this all of 2009 books, or just some? I know, as an author who had couple books come out in 2009.
I posted one that came out before 2009. sorry.(But "Living Dead Girl" had one of the best covers ever.)
I think that hush hush and the hollow are so far down the list! I did really love shiver's cover (and the book)

Yesterday, someone chose the top 25 books in this list and gave them all one star. That person only has 26 ratings. The 26th is a five star rating...of David's book. Interesting.
None of these book covers really grab me, it is about the covers right? They probably look much better when you can see them very large tho. I have bought books due to intriguing art on the cover! sigh....
I love this list, seeing the covers in thumbnails really bring up the unique ones and their composition. I must admit I added a few books to my "to-read" list because it.
The tiger series has the most amazing book covers. It caught my eye and now it's my favorite series. They deserve an award :)
