The Highland Clearances (15 books)

Fiction and otherwise about the forcible removal of Scottish Highlanders from their homes and land beginning in 1750, in order to increase grazing land for the wealthy landlord's sheep. As a result, many Scots were forced to emigrate to the New World to populate Canada and the USA.

Not much on this subject, so I'm willing to include the aftermath of the Clearances, etc. to round it out. :)
