Really great reads.. at least I love them! Most are YA but have the slightly older feel that is apparently now called "New Adult".. Any-who, not the mainstream paranormal or fantasy (way to many sub genres) But just seriously badass dark and gritty plots totally worth the read :)
*if you find the title misleading because of self-promoting authors adding their books OR adds that may not fall into the original theme of said list, please understand that although my heart goes out to you and your OCD.. there's not a darn thing I can do about it (I'm allowed to say that because I too have OCD) Alas, I can't delete others adds! I supposed just VOTE for the ones you APPROVE of in order to move em up the list!

This list is not labeled correctly. There are at least 10 books on this list that are YA not New Adult. That changes the dimensions of the whole list. New Adult should be removed from the title of this list. This is one of my pet peeves here on goodreads.

Relax, I made this list 2 years ago and it was half the list it is now. When I created it, it was NEW adult and apparently not anymore. Maybe you should change your pet peeve to "People who are unable to properly categorize and/or distinguish the immense difference between YOUNG Adult and NEW Adult"
My pet peeve is being told I've committed your pet peeve, as if its my own personal problem. And people that use italics for emphasis. And people that kind of sound like a jerk.
Okay, what have we learned?? Using nice words and manners might be the key to getting me, or people in general, to play nice. Say please and I'll consider changing the title.

You're awesome.
Sukhi why not remove books that do not conform to what you wanted the list to be? As the moderator, if you will, I understand you can do this. Also I humbly apologize... so many lists are just tossed up by groups, or people who are no longer on here. It would be nice if lists were maintained, so they would keep their original integrity.
I am sorry, but I still feel when lists are misrepresented, and stay that way, it is false advertising...
Red, You're Awesome as well!Tara, unfortunately I am unable to remove books that I have not personally added.. I think.. honestly I didn't really try that hard to figure it out but FOR YOU I did add a disclaimer in the little blurb. See! Honey beats Vinegar ;)

Other librarians will be able to remove books for you as well; just write in the comment box which books you want removed and one of us is bound to see it.
Removed Penryn and the end of the days 1 and 2, but I left Book 3 alone because some darker themes.Removed Nevermore and The Summoming as I could't find the books shelved as adult or new adult.
Note: Sarah J. Maas books contain explicit sexual scenes, alcohol consumption, language physical and sexual abuse. Librarians: Please do not erase them so this list can remain informative.
