How come "Maame", by Jessica George, is twice on this list, currently at 75 and at 132?
Why is "A Winter Grave" by Peter May stating that it was not published in this year when I try to add it to this list? It was released in January 2023?!?

It needs to have the original publication date noted, probably. It's two different fields, due to reprints of books. If you link it here, I (or someone else) will edit it so you can add. Assuming it hasn't already been resolved ^^
There are several books not showing as published this year that I would vote for. Liars ans Liasons by Sav R Miller, secret Obsession by S M Massery, Marrow by Brynne Weaver and Trisha Wolffe.

Every time I see a list like this, it makes me grateful I read books that interest me and bring me new perspectives, not just the ones TikTok talks about the most.

This title wasn't previously published in another language; it's completely legit. Sadly, it is also a problem that we humble volunteer librarians are unable to fix. Go to the librarians' thread, and they should set it to rights.

However, I was able to pull on Google the publication year as 2023.
The issue usually comes with translated books, as the English edition might not always be first. And if it's not English, it's hit or miss on if it gets added here.
You should be able to add, it might "take 15 min" to register.

I am running into a similar issue with another book that I would like to vote for -- "Beneath the Scarlet Frost" by Marissa Miller, which was first published in 2023. However, when I try to add it, I keep getting the message that it was "not published during this year". It was released in hardback and paperback in 2023, and it was released as an eBook and audiobook in 2024 -- I thought perhaps the system was trying to use 2024, but that list (correctly) is not accepting it either.
