We loved this game when I was a kid! Here are the books listed on our card game from 1970’s
There were earlier decks with different authors and more recent spin-offs with specific categories such as Children’s Authors and American Women Authors. They are even now decks for inventors, composers, etc

You could add them; it's easy to add books to lists. At the top of the list, at the tab next to "all votes."
The (very old, torn and yellowed) version that we have includes John Greenleaf Whittier with "Snowbound," "Among the Hills," "Laus Deo," and "The Eternal Goodness." I suppose I understand why they updated it with Poe, but I was a little sad to see him go.
wow! I played it in the 70's and Poe was on there then. Now they have added hearts, clubs, spades and diamonds to the set and I don't remember Thackeray. Seems like there were fewer sets then. Not enough for a whole poker playing set like now
Are you sure this particular edition of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (#34) by Bo Hampton is alright? Shouldn't that be an edition by Washington Irving?I haven't played the game but A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Stories: Christmas Festivities, The Story of the Goblins Who Stole a Sexton, A Christmas Tree, The Seven Poor Travellers, The Haunted Man, and Master Humphrey's Clock doesn't seem right either... Shoudn't it be 'just' A Christmas Carol?

Also, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is missing.
Thanks. Love this list!
