What to read before Mythcon 43 (42 books)

Mythcon 43 will be held in Berkeley, CA, from August 3-6, 2012. The conference theme is “Across the Continents: Myths and legends from Europe and Asia meet and mingle” and the Guests of Honor are author Malinda Lo and scholar G. Ronald Murphy. List will include books written by our guests, core readings by the Inklings (Tolkien, Lewis, Williams, et al), myth and folktales, and more (including finalists for the Mythopoeic Fantasy and Scholarship Awards when these are announced in late May).
