Zeldathon1986 is live right now (24/7 for 6 days straight!). Check it out on Twitch, or from Zeldathon.com - this year raising money for St Jude's Children's Hospital. :)
Zeldathon Mythos is live as I type - family friendly charity gaming marathon raising money for Make A Wish. UNFORTUNATELY, I had social obligations and MISSED Captain Trina's Storytime this year! :S If anyone knows what she read, PLEASE vote it in!Check out Zeldathon dot com for the stream (or via Twitch).
It's a 5 day (give or take) 24 gaming marathon, where (traditionally) the team plays all (ALL) of The Legend of Zelda franchise games... and I do mean all. If you've not heard of The Wand of Gamelon, or Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love, then you're going to need to tune in. :)
Next up is "Zeldathon 1986" in summer 2024 (countdown is on the website). You can watch highlights from previous events on YouTube, as well.
It's family friendly (I don't know how they don't swear like sailors playing games, but somehow they don't!), it's very silly, and 100% of all proceeds go to the given charity (last event, Zeldathon Dimensions, raised over $100k for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital).
Also, when you donate (via PayPal), you can make a character of your choosing with your name walk across the screen, and have a message read out. :) Kids love it.
24 hours a day, so you can tune in from anywhere across the world to the live stream, too.
I missed Captain Trina's storytime this year. I was a little sad. :(
