The Jewish Genre Challenge is the Goodreads group for an annual reading challenge to read genre fiction with Jewish main characters. This listopia is for documenting Jewish genre fiction to be released later in 2024. Please do not add to or vote on these lists unless you are participating in our reading challenge!
For challenge participants: Please only add books with Jewish main characters that are the first in a series that continues to feature Jewish main characters. Authors do not need to be Jewish. Please only add genre fiction to this list, that means no literary fiction (unless it is also fantasy, dystopian, etc.), no nonfiction. You may add historical fiction of interest that does not take place during WWII.
This list is community-created, which means it may contain books without Jewish main characters. Only books with Jewish main characters are eligible for completing the JGC.
