Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* I really like the Goodreads book statistics feature. It shows a sharp spike for each of these finalists as soon as they are announced. E.g. https://www.goodreads.com/book/stats?...

It demonstrates that people are paying attention and performance in SPFBO makes a difference. How well that translates to sales and whether the spike is significant in the long run, I don't know.

Bernhard But who won? Mushroom Blues and By Blood, by Salt both have the same average score.

OMG the results are in! It is a tie! Wow. I haven't seen anything in the rules for that.

Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* By Blood, By Salt received more bloggers' top scores. Maybe that can be the deciding factor?

That was it! Mark Lawrence announced it on the SPFBO Facebook group an hour ago. The winner is By Blood, by Salt.

Bernhard I guess I have to check By Blood, by Salt out then.
