Agatha Christie is one of my fav authors and all her books are a treat to read...They are ageless and timeless jewels... :)
I never realized Agatha Christie wrote Great Expectations. Seems someone's been sneaking entries onto this list.
Almeta wrote: "Why are authors other than Christie on this list?"On the contrary, Agatha Christie is the Only author I see on this list. I see Lead Characters, but Agatha Christie is not a character.

Hercule Poirot and the Tommy & Tuppence stories are by Agatha Christie. As is Miss Marple. Unfortunately, I don't speak any foreign languages so I'm not sure about the rest.
Some of Agatha Christie's books were published under different names, so if you're looking for a title but can't find it, it's probably here after all. For example, the #1 book on the list (I'd say the top three listed are indeed her best and arguably in interchangeable positions) has been published under such titles as "Ten Little Indians". Also, on this list, "The Mystery of the Blue Train" is listed twice, at #54 and #94.
Atimanarain wrote: "Where is the read shelf? Do I create it, if yes, then how? Somebody somewhere please Help!"Atimanarain, once you find the book you've read (click on the title, find the edition, then rate it), you will have automatically started/created a list of books you've read. To find that list, simply click on "My Books" at the top of this screen. It's handy, everything you read/rate will be listed there!

Krisz wrote: "Where's the Mistery of the Blue Train? I seem to like the train-featured ACs best :)" it's number 54 ;)
Krishna wrote: "I was her fan when I was 16 and now at 72 I am 'fanner'"i am her fan since i was 10 years old and now i'm 20,she's one of my favorite writers.
le premier roman que j'ai lus d'agatha c'était "the moving finger" et j'admire beaucoup son travail :)

It seems to be #56 now. My best guess is that these are being shuffled-perhaps voting is still going on?

It's at number 56 now. I think voting and shuffling are still going on?
Christy wrote: "It's at number 56 now. I think voting and shuffling are still going on? ..."Again, I can only find one copy of The Mystery of the Blue Train, not two, which is why I assumed someone already checked for duplicates (see message 20).
And yes, voting and shuffling are still going on, of course ;-)
The books of Agatha Christie are like a valuable relic to our family. I started to love this author when I was a teen and I still reread her books <3 some more than 5 times ;))))))
I have also read all her books, but am on my second time around now. I'm not adding them to my list until I've read them again.
Linda wrote: "#86 - 88 need to be removed! Just sayin."Done (as you were right: None of these were by Agatha Christie).

What a weird list for goodreads. I agree that the top five listed are indeed Christie's top five novels. Could it be the "Twilight" readers don't read Christie and skew the results?
Krishna wrote: "I was her fan when I was 16 and now at 72 I am 'fanner'"Krishna I started at 6 years old with Bertrams Hotel and am still reading Dame Agatha, my favorite author of all time. But in years, you win!
Passenger to Frankfurt is so bad that it's not even on the list. There are also 6 books by Christie written under the name Mary Westmacott, and she wrote 3 collaborations with other members of the Detection Club:
The Floating Admiral
Ask a Policeman
Six Against the Yard
Monica wrote: "My fav mystery writer. I credit her with my love for books"Same here. I’ve been reading her books for 45 years!

I started as a kid and a man still reading her 45 years later!

AT BERTRAM'S HOTEL is the first 'adult book' I read. I was six years old, first grade. Still have a dozen or so left after 55 years, I'm spacing them out.
