Hercule Poirot and the Tommy & Tuppence stories are by Agatha Christie. As is Miss Marple. Unfortunately, I don't speak any foreign languages so I'm not sure about the rest.

Some of Agatha Christie's books were published under different names, so if you're looking for a title but can't find it, it's probably here after all. For example, the #1 book on the list (I'd say the top three listed are indeed her best and arguably in interchangeable positions) has been published under such titles as "Ten Little Indians". Also, on this list, "The Mystery of the Blue Train" is listed twice, at #54 and #94.

Atimanarain, once you find the book you've read (click on the title, find the edition, then rate it), you will have automatically started/created a list of books you've read. To find that list, simply click on "My Books" at the top of this screen. It's handy, everything you read/rate will be listed there!

AT BERTRAM'S HOTEL is the first 'adult book' I read. I was six years old, first grade. Still have a dozen or so left after 55 years, I'm spacing them out.

I wonder if "And Then There Were None" was still being published under the original name, which I'm sure I couldn't and don't want to write here, whether it would be number one? In my childhood, the film versions were called Ten Little Indians. In it's first British release it was called Ten Little N Word. A close reading of Christie will show her all-around bigotry. She didn't confine herself to what many people might call races. For her, anyone who wasn't from a white, long established (from Domesday Book) England-proper family was a different race. And she had colorful names to mark them all out. It would be very instructive to read her novels in the first British edition forms.
