I added Called: The Making and Unmaking of a Nun. This recently published memoir brings to life a family, like many families, who settled in small rural MN towns from the 1860's onwards, as author recalls her family history and growing up in Marshall, MN. Her family history reminded me so much of my Minnesota grandparents (and their parents) who made their lives in Minnesota. I am guessing that there are many readers who have rural MN roots that can trace similar histories beginning with their great (and great great) grandparents.
