Doug wrote: "MIchael:The Dennis Wheatley Library of the Occult, great list but how do I vote."Hi, Doug. After I wrote the list description referring to voting, I found out it could be made static. Being static means that the list is fixed with only the books Dennis Wheatley edited, but also that it can't be voted on. Sorry for the confusion, and I've now edited the description accordingly.
It is an interesting collection of books, isn't it? :-)
Yes, I've been trying for a complete collection for years. I have only managed to get about six books in the actual collection, but have read a few as stand alone books. I'm going to give up on getting the whole set and give my credit card a BASH and pick up as many as I can for E my reader. The rest will just have to wait till I have time to order them from the library.
I only got 2 of the books which I picked up at a second hand book shop I used to work for (closed down now), Harry Price Ghost Hunter and The Werewolf of Paris, but I got 3 other books in other eds, The Phantom of the Opera, The Monk and Faust: Part 1 + Faust, Part Two. I have also read Dracula and Frankenstein in Norwegian in the 1990s.But after finding this list I will defenitely read more of them, maybe just not these editions.
