I've never read a Patterson book so I don't think I'm qualified to vote on this :-)

I find that James Patterson has a number of different styles, I do not like his Alex Cross books, the few I read were to graphic. Kiss the Girls made me stop reading him altogether for quite some time. Then I read Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, which was very good, but my favorite has to be Beach Road for the final twist.
I've only read a couple of the Patterson's novels. I listened to the first in his Women's Murder Club and enjoyed it and would like to read more in that series. I also started reading Alex Cross but got too busy to continue.
The only books of James Patterson I've read so far are The Women's Murder Club series. I plan to start his Alex Cross books when I'm done with those.
I have read just about everything of his but the very newest. They are quick and exciting reads...true escapism!
I have read most of James Patterson's books, with the exceptions of the newest ones and the Maximum Ride series. I really like the Cross books for the most part, and ditto for the Women's Murder Club series. I run hot and cold with his books that aren't part of the series. Some of them I like, and some I don't.
Of all the books in the poll, I've only read 1st to Die. So, I don't feel I can really have a Favorite. From the comments, I've found a few titles to put on my TBR.
Sorry, I've only read Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas. Loved it, but that doesn't necessarily make that #1.
I have read all of the Women's Murder Club, some of the Alex Cross, and a few of his stand-alones over the years. It seems like my likes and dislikes change often-today my fav of his is The Quickie.
I read all his Women's Murder Club and really liked them. Right now I am onto his the 9th Judgment. Maybe I had too much expectation on this latest book, as I had waited for this book for some years, the book does not seem to as fast read as the previous 8 books... well, hope the speed picks up from the next half of the book..
LOVE reading Patterson's books, SanFran's & Michael Bennett are fav's, also like the newer one's Private Games & Don't Blink
i love all his books, i collect them, i am a big fan, i have to carry a list of books i already have because i find myself buying 3 and 4 copies of the same book just because they are his lol
Never really been into reading books before. Started reading James Patterson's, Women's Murder Club #1 and was hooked! Love reading this series of books so much! Almost done with the 10th Anniversary then onto #11. Can't wait to read more of his books! keep up the great writing.
i have read almost all of pattersons books and i can say other than the profanity it some of them he is a great suspense writer. I expecially enjoyed the maximmum series novels. Fast reads and the teenagers and some young readers might enjoy them as well. Over all i recommend you give patterson books a try.
I LOVE READING ALL JAMES PATTERSON BOOKS. IJUST STARTED READING THE WICH AND WIZARD BOOKS AND I FIND HTEM GREAT BOOKS TO READ.
I have enjoyed reading James Patterson's Books. I have read Along came a spider, Kiss the Girls, my favorites would be Sam's Letters to Jennifer along with Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, I couldn't put them down.
I have read all the Alex Cross series at least once. They are definitely a page turner for me. I also enjoy James Pattersons other work as well.
I am a HUGE fan of James patterson Alex Cross Novels and the Women's Mystery Club Books..I can read the whole Women's Mystery Club books again and again.

Love James Patterson. I have read many of his books, but got hooked on the Alex Cross series. Need to make some time to finish them all.
James Patterson, in my opinion, has to be one of the most amazing authors ever. He always keeps you turning the pages because you have to know what's next! I love all of his books!!!
One of my favorite authors. I love the Women's murder book club series and I have read No1 private suspect and private in LA, also Guilty wives, really enjoyed them. He is an amazing writer, he has a vivid imagination.
Love James Patterson!!! Read all his books that I can get my hands on. Short chapters make for an easy read. Love his twists and turns in his stories.
I love James Patterson books. I caught up on one year of all the Alex Cross books, now I have to wait ever year for a new one.I stopped buying them and go to the library as he puts out around 7 a year of other books. Wish I love.
I just read my first James Patterson book: "London Bridges". If this book is any indication of Patterson's writings, this is also my last Patterson book. "London Bridges" can be summarized in a few sentences: Hapless and apparently useless protagonist Dr. Alex Cross fidgets and gets little accomplished if anything in 90% of the book, we know more about his family life than what he is doing to capture the antagonist "Wolf". Summary: Hapless FBI agent flies all over the place, spends time with family, watches his partner be killed; bad guy runs around blowing things up and blackmailing various countries. Hapless FBI agent fails. Use this book to level up that short leg on your desk or don't bother to buy it at all. Pure waste of ink and paper.
