Good day to you too, BT, and Happy New Year!
I'm glad you're playing again this year.
I'm glad you're playing again this year.
Great Penny... looking forward to seeing your additions.
I'll be interested to see how long before a twin this year; it's longer than last year already, I think.
That looks good. Is she he the author of the shardlake books?
That's what i love about this list. Everyone reads so many different things.
Ssshh.....
I'm hoping the picture of the old biddy reading will put a lot of the younger crowd off.

*puts on go-faster striped running shoes*
Judging by her expression she must be reading both at once
*runs eversofast*
:O)
Bettie wrote: "Judging by her expression she must be reading both at once"LOL.
If so, she's managed to get extremely far without smashing the book against the nearest wall!
Bettie doesn't appreciate my attempts at cult-cha... *sniff*

I do I do appreciate you - only I couldn't resist the fun. It was a case of the baddie in Roger Rabbit knocking the walls...
rap rap re-rap rap
Just had to answer:
RAP RAP!
BTW There is a dance called Roger Rabbit: http://youtu.be/pua9UszdO24

Oh, absolutely. Just amazed at her patience, is all!
Bettie wrote: "BTW There is a dance called Roger Rabbit: http://youtu.be/pua9UszdO24"Teehee. Complete with instruction, too!
Hello all! I haven't voted yet, but I'm sure I will when I find a book I really want to share. So far this year I've read 4 books-pretty diverse selection too. May I will add them.
Please do, pam. This list is for all the books you have read this year. For the stellar reads, you can vote on bettie's list. Link way up there under the picture.
Thanks for playing.
Thanks for playing.
Thanks Susanna... always vigilant!
Went to the library last week, and decided to get a book from this list and my to read list. Starting at the top, so next I will be reading Gone Girl.
Penny wrote: "I have my fingers crossed for 'A Room with a View' by EM Forster..."It's on my to read list!
Hi my friends. Have not been here for a while. reading is not going so well. Every night I try to read but after 10 pages (If I am lucky) I can't seem to keep my eyes open.Anyway. Glad to be here and I did start a new best of 2013 for us 35s and over.
Here is the link Hayes.

ETA: I did add a link to this list but I am going to do what you did and try to get the link on top!
Good to be back. (I have read some Dutch books. Maybe better not add those?)
Thank you, Marlene. I will go right now to check.
I am adding the books i have read. I remember correctly that you just add all the books? I ask because most of the books i read in January sucked. Noticing I am adding books that I did not like and only gave 2 stars.
Yea, all of 'em. You can make a note that you didn't like it if you want, so when someone goes to see who voted that will show up.
Thanks for playing and it's nice to see you back.
I havenàt been around much either... working too hard!

No me neither Susanna but I do add the books I did finish but did not like. As Haynes suggested I do write notes telling how much stars I gave the books. Not reading as much as I usually do. Last year I had set to read 115 books which I easily managed. Not this year.
Even though I have been reading English now for more than a decade I have noticed I still read Dutch a lot quicker. So sometimes read some Dutch books. I want to at least read a hundred books this year :)
I've made a list for the folks born in the 60s, by the way: http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/37...
Hayes wrote: "Great Penny... looking forward to seeing your additions."I am remiss and have not been reading the messages! My list this year is full of odd-bods. Of course I was a fool and said that I would read the top three voted books on my 70s list from 2012 (which ended up being six as some had equal votes). Which meant that I read 'The Hunger Games' trilogy and helped it gain ground sorry! And I have one left to read - 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', but honestly I'm sick of reading books that are not of my own choosing, so that will have to wait until further in the year.
I thought that 'The Hunger Games' would be up there in votes again, meaning that I wouldn't have to read them next year, but no, bit of a shock - I might have a whole set of new books to read in 2014.
And I'm also subject to reading books for my course, which feels wrong somehow. Sort of like 'not my choice folks!' needs to be put in the margins of my votes.
Anyone else reading under duress?
AND yay Susanna for starting up a 60s list!

Hi Jenny, There's lots of stuff here, or on Susanna's list. Welcome.
