Just wonder why Stegner's 'Crossing to Safety' is not in the list. I believe that was their consensus best book. Have recently read it and would heartily concur - a great book.

It's # 25
Thank you Harry and Susan for your comments. Yes, 'Crossing to Safety' is on this list and is #25. A few notes about this Listopia list: I took the liberty of compiling this list on Good Reads/Listopia from the list located in the back of 'The End of Your Life Book Club' for a book club that my mother, aunt, cousin and I started after we read 'The End of Your Life Book Club' together. I thought I'd share the list with everyone on Good Reads. This list that I compiled does not have every single book listed in the back of EOYLBC because it is only possible for one person to list 100 books (so I endeavored to leave out lesser discussed books and children's books). So, if you notice a EOYLBC book is missing, please be so kind as to add it to the list! Thank you.
Thanks so much for this list! I was listening to the audio version and had to kept pausing to write down yet another book that sounded good. Then inspiration hit me: Check if there's a list of books! And here it is!!Thanks!
Hi Teri,Thanks so much for your comment. I'm glad that you found the list! I can imagine that The End if Your Life Book Club is great as an audio version.
Best,
Lauren

I see that there are 107 books listed so I presume the seven extra have been added by others. So, thanks to others for the additions.
FYI, Etiquette of Illness is on the list twice. Also, I would be happy to add to the list if you like.

Me too. Thanks!
@LaurenI haven't read The End of Your Life Book Club but if there are any titles on this Listopia which are not mentioned in the book, just let me know and I'll remove them for you.
I don't see Updike's Tears of My Father and other stories listed and that one was an important read for them towards the end of her life.

I don't know how many books are in the book or even if you care about this list any longer, but thought I would mention that over 80 of them have been voted on by more than one person. As long as one other person has voted on a particular book, you can remove your vote and vote for another book.
