The books that we love to hate. And if we were given a choice, would be able to stab them on their hard-cover asses.

just another list that someone made who is in an idiot. Im sorry, but its hard to believe that some of the best selling books in the world are hated and should "die painfully" Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Jodi Picoult, Twilight, and a bunch of classics. Yeah, right. I personally am sick of hearing about twilight and vampires, but they are best sellers so putting them at the top of your list is dumb and pointless.
To be fair, its not the creator of the list that decides what books go on top, its people's votes that decides that. And I can proudly say I voted the Twilight series too because I honestly think it needs to die painfully.
I really disagree with the addition of Jodie Picoult books to this list. I have read all her books and, with only one exception, found them to be fascinating, well-written, and very real. To each her own, I suppose...
Whoa hold on why would anyone put The Catcher In The Rye, Harry Potter series, Animal Farm, Looking For Alaska(great book btw), The Lovely Bones, or The Vampire Academy series up there they were alol pretty good....smh aye wateva floats your boat but i honestly dnt think they should be up there especially not the Harry Potter books nd Catcher in the Rye.....
HOW ON EARTH IS THE BOOK THIEF ON THIS LIST?!?!Markus Zusak has the best writing I've ever seen! I don't care if you don't like it, but you cannot possible say that the quality is bad, and if you do, well... you like Stephanie Meyer and Ellen Schrieber.

Just because they're classic and bestsellers doesn't mean they're good. You really want Twilight to not be on this list? That piece of crap that Stephanie Mayer passes off as literature? It's a disgrace to the fantasy genre. One of the most loathsome books of all times. It deserves to be on this list more than any other book except Ellen Schreiber's.
This. List. Is. Messed. Up.Shiver? Eragon? Harry Potter?? Hunger Games?? Looking for Alaska?!?
Okay, I can see why some people would hate good books (Stuff they had to read in school, Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye, Animal Farm), but really?
And why are not all works by Stephenie Meyer at the very top?
Guys, really. These are people's opinions. Can you not accept that someone has different tastes than you? I can see why someone would hate Shiver, Eragon, and The Hunger Games, and I love all those books. I wouldn't have a problem with someone hating my favorite book, as long as they had a reason. And Fluttershy, what is "alot"? I've heard that word everywhere, but I can' figure out what it means.

(Who can hate Nicholas Sparks is beyond me though...) I know this is someone's opinion but seriously...don't hate on someone elses comment if you don't know them. That just irks me. Sorry..but it's true. :) And this list is just someone's opinion of books......

I've heard it all over the place, but it seems it's not in the dictionary.
And how am I "hating" on someone else's comment?
Seriously, people. All of this is purely subjective, because it just so happens that PEOPLE LIKE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BOOKS. Surprised you there, didn't I? People have these things called opinions.
So calm down and stop dissing.

Oh, I'm so sorry! I completely forgot about it! Yes, Alot is pretty awesome. For anyone else who's confused, here it Alot:

Laura wrote: "Because people have different opinions?"very true. sorry :) i didn't really mean to come off in a rude way, but i'm genuinely curious as to why people think the harry potter series is terrible. that's all. i'm all for opinions, lol. i'm not questioning twilight because i would have put it on this list too. hence, my earlier post. :)
Personally, I think no book should die. As we say in my country, there are passengers for every train. Meaning, even what might be the most stupid book in your opninion will find a reader who likes it. That's the great thing about books (and people for that matter): diversity and the freedom to choose which type or genre you prefer and like.
Seriously? Old Yeller? Harry Potter??
