Once again, I find Les Miserables listed among books "about the French Revolution". If by that people mean "a revolution in France", fair enough. But THE French Revolution is normally meant to be the Revolution of 1789-1799, the one with Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, Robespierre, Danton etc. The one depicted in the Scarlet Pimpernel and A Tale of Two Cities. The "revolution" depicted in Les Miserable is the so called "June Uprising" of 1832, which lasted 2 days, during the reign of Louis Philippe, over 30 years after the French Revolution, 18 years after the fall of Napoleon and the restoration of the Bourbons. It has nothing to do with the French Revolution.
