I'm considering the idea of removing the books over a million from this list? anyone care? So it would no longer overlap http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/35...
Removing books with over a million ratings. There is a separate list for that. Removed To Kill a Mockingbird, The Catcher In the Rye, The Great Gatsby, The Hobbit, Harry Potter #1, Twilight and Hunger Games.
Thanks for doing this. Won't be long before Harry Potters 2-7 graduate, it seems.I wish this list wasn't necessary, though. You'd think Goodreads could easily do this sort of list themselves. It'd make searching for popular + highly rated books a lot easier.

I think its a good idea. I find this to be fascinating so thanks for all the work. There is also a list for books with fewer than one thousand ratings and that one is interesting too. My favorite writer is on it.

If you are talking about https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2..., the cool thing is that is a set of 7 lists. And there are also lists by ratings specifically for science fiction and fantasy and nonfiction and children's books. I just wish goodreads was doing this automatically.
Oh, I prefer actually voting. I have spent hours voting as its fun for me.

It appears that I have read 28 of them so far.

I've only read 18 so far... I am working on reading all the goodreads books that have over 80,000 ratings - and all science fiction on goodreads with over 25,000 ratings - currently 531 books to go.
That is a too much for me. good luck hope you manage it
It will take at least 3 years and it will be a race as new books meet the criteria. But so far there have been some pleasant surprises (To Kill A Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice).

Those were nice surprises for me too as I finally read Pride and Prejudice for the firs time ever due to being on goodreads. I read To Kill a Mockingbird again and it enjoyed it much more the second time.

These are great lists! Thank you for putting them together.I'm working my way through the Million ratings list now and will work my way down.
Great way to get across "popular" books
