This is a beautifully woven account of two women and the pivotal circumstances and outcomes that rendered them forever changed. Each has her story and each tells it in her own voice. Outside looking in, the two women are different in every possible way, they are not related, yet a brief encounter on a beach profoundly changes the lives of both. "Little Bee" works magic as you are empathetically submerged into the intense spectrum of emotion rendered by each voice. I cannot remember the last time a book captured my emotions and brought me to tears.
