Why was the book I voted for removed? Wool has been 'permanently free' since September 21, 2012 (see http://www.ereaderiq.com/dp/B005FC52L...). If issue is Dystopia, it is that. At least 228 people on here think it is.

Is it because it wasn't always free? Because, if so, other books would need to be removed. Like The Tube Riders. While free at this exact moment, it cost $2.99 as recently as January 30 2014 (see http://www.ereaderiq.com/dp/B007LVFSP...).

The Shelter cost $0.99 as recently as Feb 16 2013 (ie, more recently than Wool). (see http://www.ereaderiq.com/dp/B006QYH9S...)

Alexa T. Liquori's Four Times Blessed is $0.99 (ebook) on Barnes & Noble and $9.44 (paperback; does not appear to offer the ebook version) on Amazon.

And I didn't look at the others.

I'm not sure what was the situation back in April, but the book can be read or download on GR at the moment.

2BR02B by Kurt Vonnegut is not free. Removed. Costs a $1 on Amazon.

E.M. Forster's The Machine Stops not free. Cheapest on B&N is $1.99. Cheapest on Amazon is $0.99. Short story was published before 1923 and is in the public domain in the USA only. But not free worldwide.

Mike, Please use google not Amazon and B&N.

The machine stops was written in 1904 and doesn't have any copywright. There are multiple places where it can be downloaded for free: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=the... Re-added.
