Jack Ace Wonderful list, Peter. Highly appreciated that you put Ghoul into it. It fits. Best, Jack

Valerie Book Valkyrie Does your Listopia contain specifically those possessed car novels that you've read and were run over by? Have you read others that backfired, not making the recommended list? Just wondering if there are more same themed novels available in addition to those listed, thanks 🧚‍♀️🙋🏼.

Jack Ace Dear Valerie,

A wonderful question—and thankfully, I’ve only been metaphorically run over so far. This list here by Peter also reflects the titles I’ve personally encountered and felt carried that particular spark—the sense that the machine is more than metal, that it watches, waits, and chooses. There are certainly other possessed-vehicle tales out there, but not all of them leave tire marks on the imagination. I tend to be drawn to those where the car becomes something intimate, almost sentient in a disturbing, psychological way rather than just a tool of chaos. That said, I’m always on the lookout for more of these cursed engines—so if you happen to come across any that haunt you, I’d be more than curious to hear. Please add them for all to enjoy. After all… some roads are never fully mapped. Best regards, Jack
