Craig Jones On a related topic, Raymond E. Feist's series of fantasy novels known as The Riftwar Saga (starting with "Magician: Apprentice") was heavily influenced by the SCA. Many of the people and places were named after actual SCA members/groups, particularly members of the Kingdom of Caid (Southern California).
