Dear John.... let me see I guess I should start with Savanna. First she breaks up with him over a letter I mean that was just stupid. She waited 3 year to for him but breaks up when they only have 9 more mounts. The ending very much pissed me off. I hated the ending but loved the beginning and middle of this book.
I love Nicholas Sparks! I read the Last Song because of the movie, then A walk to remember, then I will read Dear John and the Notebook. I'm not really sure what to read after that though, because I like the teen element of the stories...Any suggestions on what next?

dear john i loved the movie love him but at the end of the movie they should got back togther pour john he has nothing now hes dad dies has no mom and now dunped by savana if i was her i would of stayed with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutly love Nicholas Spark's books. They are incredible. The first book I read was Dear John. Hated the ending, but totally loved it. I've read: The Last Song, The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, The Rescue, Nights in Rodanthe. I'm currently reading Message in a Bottle.
I've read/seen the movies/books, but I love the last song, i think despite all the flack it copped, it really did bring miley cyrus out of the "hannah montana disney girl" scene. it was a beautiful story and Nicholas has the amazing power to evoke so many feelings in one novel, i love him for it :)

I found this book(Dear John) heartbreakingly possible. I did find it a little spooky that John ends up in a tree watching his lost love during the full moon. While it seems that he is harmless and even loving,it still seems like something a Stalker would do.
I just finished reading The Choice and it was a really good book! I also liked Message in a Bottle and the Lucky One too. I hope that helps.

The first Nicholas Sparks's book that I read is Massage In The Bottle, I really love it.........Bait terakhir dari surat Theresa, aku tulis in My diary , bener2 nyentuh hati banget, air mataku bercucuran pas baca buku itu. Aku tulis lagi ya..., gini nih :" Ini bukan ucapan selamat berpisah, kasihku. Ini adalah ucapan terima kasihku. Terima kasih telah memasuki kehidupanku dan memberiku kebahagiaan. Terima kasih telah mencintaiku dan menerima cintaku. Terima kasih atas kenangan-kenangan yang akan kusimpan selamanya. Tapi terutama terima kasih telah menunjukkan padaku bahwa suatu saat nanti aku bisa merelakanmu.
I love you,
T
"A Walk to Remember" should be number one. I don't what's so special about "The Notebook". In the book the author doesn't even go into detail about how the two fall in love that summer. Also, I think "A Walk to Remember" is one of the best Nicholas Sparks movie. In fact, I even thought the movie was almost as good as the book.
"dear john" should be number one, i dont know what to say about nicholas sparks except that i feel free and amazing about love and life each time i read of of his books. amazing author
I love all Nicholas Sparks books, but my favorite is "A Walk to Remember". I saw the movie, too. Most of the time, the book is better than the movie, like what they did on "Message In a Bottle". In this movie("Message in a Bottle"), they made some changes on some scenes which personally, didn't sit well with me; different from the book. So, I make it a point to read the book first, then see the movie, if they make it, for comparisons. Definitely, "A WALK TO REMEMBER" should be NUMBER ONE. KUDOS TO YOU, NICHOLAS SPARKS!!!!
The only ones I've read are Message in a Bottle (loved it) and Dear John (also loved it.) They are really sad though!

The Last song was my favourite, although not one of his books has let me feel let down in the slightest :D
The best is A Walk to Remember, the book which made me start to read.A close second is Safe Haven. :)
I haven't read Dear John but I was too pissed at the movie. Really really pissed at Savanna. The story and the ending didn't work for me. :/
I love his new novel Safe Haven.it's a bit different than the other novels. :)
A walk to remember is better in the movie than the book (though it's still good)
I absolutely loved The Guardian <3 and of course The Notebook is a classic. Dear John was heartbreaking, but felt very real. I have yet to read a Nick Sparks book I haven't stayed up all night reading =) I'm about to read Message in a Bottle.
I loved this book, but the ending could have ended a little happier with them possibly getting back together, but in real life nothing really happens that way, so I guess it makes it more real. Other than that, absolutely amazing book! :)
ohh Nicholas Sparks is just the best !! <3 <3 and yup Hats off to A walk to Remember..u gonna cry..just wow..the wedding too..nights in rodanthe..the notebook..the rescue..all are really great books <3
The Notebook and The Choice have been my favorite ones so far. The rest were entertaining enough but didn't have the same heart as those two. Dear John and Message In the Bottle are the worst I have read of his so far.
I have read The Last Song, The Best of Me, The Lucky One, Safe Haven, and I am currently reading Dear John! I LOVE Nicholas Sparks!!
Nicholas Sparks writes incredible romances that captures the reader and makes the heart ache. His books tell the truth about love.

They have what I call "Nicholas Sparks' elements" minus the teens.
Enjoy reading!
I absolutely LOVE Nicholas Sparks!! I've read every book. My favorite was "The Guardian". I like dogs, so the story was right up my alley. But I also like "Last Song" because my Dad passed away last year and I couldn't stop crying the last few chapters. It really hit home with me. But ALL of Sparks books are excellent! Please don't stop writing Nick!
Oh... even though "Nights in Rodanthe" wasn't my favorite, it was certainly the most romantic of all of Sparks books, I think. The movie was good too. They always pick the perfect actors to portray Sparks characters in his books!
The Guardian was good but it got so boring sometimes. I mean, I really don't care what happens at Julie's work! The Guardian
I love all of Nicholas's book. The book i like most is "A WALK TO REMEMBER". I will always be his trusty reader!!!
I just love Nicholas Sparks books. He sure can write beautiful stories that keep you wanting to read the next one. Looking forward to reading more of his books when they come out.
I just finished The Lucky One - it's a must read♫Sour Patch Girl♫ wrote: "I love Nicholas Sparks! I read the Last Song because of the movie, then A walk to remember, then I will read Dear John and the Notebook. I'm not really sure what to read after that though, because ..."
