I have read half of these and Hunger Games is by far the best read I have come across in 2008! Next up, Paper Towns...we'll see :)
Some book called "Jellicoe Road" actually won, you guys. "Disreputable History" got an Honor, but the other top books didn't get any recognition at all...
I love a lot of books on this list, voted for a lot of them. But I'm rooting for Paper Towns to win.

Winner of Printz 2009: Jellicoe Road
Honor books:
Octavian Nothing: Traitor to the Nation
The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks
Nation
Tender Morsels
I removed Book Thief and My Sister's Keeper from this list because they were older than 2008. Books must be published in 2008 to be eligible for the 2009 Printz.

The Hunger Games and Paper Towns are my two favorite books on here. Sad they didn't win, but I'm sure the book that did win is great.
To be eligible for the 2009 Printz, books must be published in 2008. I took Along for the Ride, Catching Fire, and Mockingjay off this list because they were published since 2008.
