I'm a Jamie Fraser girl, myself. But Rhett Butler's at the top of my list, too, and I love both of SKP's Llewelyns.

I guess I'm going to have to read these Outlander books to see what all the fuss is about....so many made the list that I'm now curious!
Nona wrote: "I guess I'm going to have to read these Outlander books to see what all the fuss is about....so many made the list that I'm now curious!"Jamie Fraser is my favorite red head in a kilt.
Too hard to choose just one! Marshals, Llewellyn, Jamie, and Nathaniel from Into the Wilderness are just some of my favourites! Don't make me choose.

I'm the only Cyrano fan, huh?
(Anybody seen the Depardieu version? I haven't been able to get my hands on it.)

I'm with you Hayes! It's the nose coupled with such complete sincerity...

Oh, I'm in a dither! Do I vote for the hero of my girlhood, darling Rhett? Or, the man who flamed my womanly passion? William Marshall, hunky William Marshall, OMGheishawt William Marshall....
Allie wrote: "Why would someone put vampires on the hunks in history list? Just curious..."That is odd. Susannah likes to keep the lists OT. Let's see what she says.
Susanna wrote: "You want anything cleaned, Misfit?"Erm, how did that Twilight crap get on this list. Yes please, make it go away. #43 - #45 as well. I'll see if I need to alter the rules. Geez.
Susanna wrote: "OK, I removed the Stephenie Meyers. Was there something else? The Harlan Coben and Lee Child?"Yes please plus the JR Ward. You watch though. Edward will be back :/
Alexander from The Bronze Horseman gets my vote. Can't wait until next year when the movie comes out!
Tough call between Robin Hood, in any incarnation, and Chadwick's William Marshal. Bad boy with a heart of gold or knight in shining armor? Can't I have both, lol?
Nance wrote: "Alexander from The Bronze Horseman gets my vote. Can't wait until next year when the movie comes out!"What? A movie?
Laure, William Marshal gets my top vote anytime :)

Misfit,
Well, according to Paullina Simons' blog, she says that they are either "moving forward or going in a different direction". She is the one, though, that is writing the screenplay for the film. The movie might not be coming out next year, but it is in the works.
Check out her blog, http://paullinasimons.com/blog/ dated May 26,2011
Portnoy's Complaint needs to be removed.
OK, the list creator here. How the hell did Control Switch On: The Untold Story Of The Most Powerful Man In The World-Ryan Moran-Who Shaped The Planet For Peace get on this list? I see there's an unknown book might need removing. As for the Sandra Hill votes, I'm not going there. Please tell me it wasn't Karla or Rachel who voted.
I...I would never! But technically it does qualify. >:D Though The Outlaw Viking is time travel. In which case, if that doesn't qualify, Outlander would have to get nixed too. ;)

Besides, we could never remove Jamie from the list. He's still on top :)
Susanna wrote: "OK, I removed the Stephenie Meyers. Was there something else? The Harlan Coben and Lee Child?"I'm thinking Control Switch On: The Untold Story Of The Most Powerful Man In The World-Ryan Moran-Who Shaped The Planet For Peace is on the wrong list.
Susanna wrote: "Oh yeah; it's the principal reason I added it to Authors Behaving Badly."He inspired me to a new shelf: Listopia spammer.
Amazon gives the ASIN for that Unknown book as:
A ESCOLA [Board Book]
MIGUEL M.ABRAHAO (Author)
But another book listed under that "unknown" author is
War, Imperialism & Dissent (Documents on US Foreign Policy) by Robert Buzzanco (2005)
So who knows. Looks like a dumping ground of unknowns. O__o

It's a refugee from the Great Amazon Clearout a year ago. Could ask the person who voted for it what it is, I guess.
I had to add Lymond to the list :)(and I'm sure Misfit won't mind Luciano del Santi and Justin Ambrose going on there, too!)
