Listopia > If Books Were Food, This Would Be A Fruitcake
Do you remember the first time you heard the term "fruitcake"? It sounded good at the time but when you tasted it you got that horrible little convulsion that heaves up a little bile and then subsides. These are the books like that, you thought they would be good, but it turned out they were a fruitcake.

I tend not to vote on sights that list how horrible books are, especially as wonderful books get listed and it always leaves me wondering who hates a book like for example.... To Kill a Mockingbird, which if I had to list an all time #1 favorite novel would probably be my choice.

Very wise of you Mike as I get annoyed all the time. I tell myself over and over I will quit this very bad habit of voting on these stupid lists and then I do it again. I even create them! I have always had problems breaking bad habits but I always eventually succeed. Thank you for helping me.

I don't mind voting on the "my favorite whatever" threads, it's just the "I hate threads" I try to avoid. :)
You are so right! I hope I can remember. I am prone to just quickly click on links.
