This list is fucked up, and so are a lot of your brains. =/ Let me get something through your heads, kay ?
Harry Potter is COMPLETE, UTTER SHIT.
Its a load of pathetic crap, and should have never been published or read by anyone.
I feel sorry for everyone that thinks it good, honestly.
And before you yell at me for judging, YES, I have actually read the first two.
I thought it would get better.
I was wrong.
Now, there`s the truth. :]
xx
The Harry Potter series helped millions of young Americans learn how to read well. If nothing else is said, that is a great accomplishment. Thank you J. K. Rowlings.
It is so true that we are all entitled to have and share our opinions, however what point is there to judge anyone based on the choices that they make in reading material? I have not read any of the Harry Potter books, my understanding is that they were created with children in mind. Anything that ignites the desire in anyone at any age to read can be counted among one of lifes treasures.
This wasn't a good list for me. too many young girl books, too much fantasy, too many vampires. Not that I don't think others should read these, just not for me. I had no idea there were so many.

Instead of using foul language to slam the books that are listed (Sarah) -after all this isn't yahoo, it's Goodreads - you do have the option of adding your own choices.
Adding books to the list is easy, by the way. You go to the top of the page, and use the tab next to "all votes" to add books from either your own bookshelves, or from a general search of this site.
Whitebeard wrote: "Someone needs to edit this list. It has duplicates."Really?
I love HP but found the books longwinding/daunting. And teh movies cut A LOT out, still love it though. Anyway off that subject - just though i'd say.
Anyone who did NOT vote for the HG....GO READ THE BOOKS, lol.
All of you voting on this list, don't you dare add The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or any of its sequels because they are the worst things ever to be written or read. They are complete, utter, inferior SHIT. If you add them, I will block them and remove them, or I will no longer like this list. When I first read The Hitchhiker's Guide, I did not like it AT ALL, cover to cover. Then I started looking at the sequels, because I thought maybe they were better, but no, they are just as abysmal and atrocious. In fact, they're actually even worse. So there.
