This list is a joke. At a certain point when lists morph into opportunities to push the same causes that pop up on every list, or to promote a members own books etc... they lose their effectiveness for the purpose for which they were created. Lists are useful when they are distilled and carefully chosen titles on a single topic. I realize that college has become is a joke, but when you have a college age niece for whom you'd like genuine book suggestions, it gets extremely annoying. I work hard to select appropriate additions to lists. I wish others would do the same.
