“I live in two worlds, one is a world of books.” According to Australian writer Patrick Lenton, these are all the books that were mentioned in the entire Gilmore Girls series

Might want to change the edition on "Howl" since the one on this list is a graphic novel and gets varied reviews. This one is classic:

Added Being There and The Witches of Eastwick :) I'm re-watching Gilmore Girls and there are a few books/movies-based-on-books that aren't on the list that is around the internet.
I would prefer another version of the book "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" since the one listed has only an english edition. I think, this one is a better choice:

Does anyone know which Bambi is the correct one? There are currently two books on the list.
Also, what's the final number of books supposed to be? Currently I see 354 books on here. I wonder if someone has added incorrect works, as elsewhere I've seen mentioned a few dozen fewer volumes for the challenge.
I am really excited to start reading all of them! Except of Harry Potter, which I've read several times in my life, I'm going to read again the ones that might be in my 'read' list, just to organize or to remember the story.
But I have so many books in my 'to read' list, that I actually have no idea of how much time this will take.
Wish me luck! And the same for you guys :)

Jamie wrote: "I was just watching the episode that Rory makes Jess read the Fountainhead and that's not on here."oh lol jk there are 3 more pages nvm
Julie wrote: "Dr Jekyll is on here twice, 61 and 85."I noticed that too, when it was listed as 72 and 84 and it's now 75 & 81. Seems something funky is going on with Jekyll and Hyde. (Go figure....)
I just started watching Gilmore Girls, (I know, shame on me) and I was wondering if somebody had compiled a list of the books mentioned or read in the series. I'm glad I found this list!
Teresa wrote: "I just started watching Gilmore Girls, (I know, shame on me) and I was wondering if somebody had compiled a list of the books mentioned or read in the series. I'm glad I found this list!"There are several Listopia's dedicated to the books mentioned in the Gilmore Girls.
Do you maybe have it in a PDF format? I would love to make a list where I could check the books with a pen. It would be great! I finished Gilmore Girls this summer and I felt so heartbroken I started watching it again...
Yes, I've seen it already, but I think it's not complete. Anyway, I think it will do :) thank you for the answer.
Dani wrote: "is there anyway i can make this list as one of my own?"I just created a new shelf and tagged each book with "want to read" and "RGilmore booklist"
It took a while to get through it all but that's how I did it. I hope it took it all.
And on an unrelated note, these are all the books MENTIONED in the show. Not just Rory's books that she read on the show. I think I was looking more for that one. Oh well.
O crap, and the new episode(s) are there NEW BOOKS??
Lena wrote: "O crap, and the new episode(s) are there NEW BOOKS?? "I found the this additional information for the new season. I have not proofread the list yet, as there are spoilers included.

Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde is still duplicated on here, it's listed twice. Can a librarian remove one of them? Thank you!
katie wrote: "Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde is still duplicated on here, it's listed twice. Can a librarian remove one of them? Thank you!"#79 The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is combined with only six other books. I thought I'd combine it with the many, many other editions (for instance with #86 The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) but I can't seem to find the first one (#79) and I don't want to remove it by hand as the votes will then get lost (which won't happen if I combine the books first and then use the duplicate check).
Addition:
Found it (finally)... For #79 (The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) however there is a note by another librarian (Ghalia) saying "This is an adaptation for children, please do not combine with the original novel", so there is not much I can do about there being two editions in this list Sorry...
Dani wrote: "is there anyway i can make this list as one of my own?"If you "like" the list you can find it easier.
Geet wrote: "I have this dream .... one day i will complete this list ❤ one day ... 😍😂"I wonder if anyone has finished it. I'm almost done with the first page. LOL. Some on the other pages I've read too, but not even close to finishing. I wish the site counted all the pages and told you how many book you have read on the list already, and not only the first page. It's a bit annoying.
Emily wrote: "How do you like this list?"At the end of the list before the comments section there is a grey button on the left side that says "like" once you click it changes to "unlike." Then you can find the list by changing it to "lists I've liked."
I saw "Yoga For Dummies" on the list and it took me maybe 2 seconds to remember that yes, indeed, it was on the show, lol. Kirk read it on stage at Miss Patty's anniversary with show business. I wish the rest of these imprinted on me so well. It'd make a fun trivia to know which scenes in the show refer to which books.

Who added a CoHo book on this list? She OBVIOUSLY didn't read it... it came out long after the show ended.
Jennifer wrote: "Who added a CoHo book on this list? She OBVIOUSLY didn't read it... it came out long after the show ended."Agreed. It makes me doubt the entire list.
I’ve read a lot of these and I’d mark them read, but idk how to do that without GR assuming that I read it THIS YEAR and counting it towards my challenge. Is there any way to specify between “i have read this,” and I read it this year?
Ying wrote: "I was hoping someone had this list. Thanks! But, I feel I should also say, Rory probably meant the kids novel the Bambi Disney movie is based on."
Why? I bet she read the actual novel. I had a teacher read it to us in elementary school. Not the kids version at all.
Amy wrote: "I’ve read a lot of these and I’d mark them read, but idk how to do that without GR assuming that I read it THIS YEAR and counting it towards my challenge. who voted for Colleen Hoover in this list...? I also just realized, that a lot of these, as you scroll through pages aren't on the list Rory read, It's best to find the full list online. The option to vote on the book should be taken on since it should be a set list.

But, I feel I should also say, Rory probably meant the kids novel the Bambi Disney movie is based on.
