A list of young adult LGBTQ books selected by youth librarians Mary Gen Davies and Tanvi Rastogi (and compiled for presentation at the 2014 Iowa Pride Conference). Many of these books were included because they're just really freaking awesome (i.e. literary merit), while a few were included based on their transformative role in YA lit. This is in no way a complete list, and we anticipate adding to it as we get our hands on more and more YA LGBTQ books.
