God's Unfathomable Love (46 books)

For the human mind, the task of comprehending God and the attributes of his character is difficult, if not seemingly insurmountable. It can be likened to a bacterium on a barnacle on a ship, striving to comprehend the ship. Our sense of feebleness can be most acutely felt when seeking to fathom God's love, especially His love for us as an individual. We think to ourselves, "I am so puny, weak, sinful and insignificant, HOW could the God of the universe possibly even think of me, let alone love me?"

As we struggle to wrap our human gray matter around something so far beyond our capability, we turn to great authors who help to bring us closer to the illusive state of knowing and being known by God, and understanding His love for us.
