Children's and Middle Grade books that have inspired a literary destination -- i.e. some type of physical place you can visit which brings the story and characters to life in a whole new way -- the line between reality and fiction becomes blurred.

PLEASE READ ALL FIVE GUIDELINES FOR ADDING A BOOK(S) TO THIS LIST:

**It is important to note that the BOOK came first, THEN the destination was created.**

(1) Children's and Middle Grade books only. NO YOUNG ADULT or other genres.

(2) Please do not include books that have inspired a "literary landmark" like a statue.

(3) Authors do not add your own books to this list.

(4) If the book is part of a series, choose ONLY ONE of the following two options:
(a) ONLY add the FIRST book in the series -- do not add subsequent titles.
(b) Add a "boxset" or "omnibus" that represents multiple titles in the series.

(5) If you ADDED a book to this list, please fill out the "Why you added this book" so you can list the name and location of the "literary destination" associated with the book(s). Feel free to type as much or as little as you want in this box. This section will be on the right hand side of your screen under a heading titled: "MY VOTES."
