Listopia > Heroine proposes to Hero!!
No historicals or harlequin romances!!
I've always liked that part in Friends where Monica proposes to Chandler in a room alight with candles!!
This list is for:
Romances where H and h are in love and - instead of the hero - it is the heroine who proposes. The grander the gesture ,the sweeter it is, the more unique it is - the better!!
No marriage of convenience or fake arrangements please!!

I can't think of any off the top of my head but I'll be on the look out.

JLC wrote: "Oops... I didn't have my reading glasses on. It thought 'propose' was 'possessive'. Sorry... "Allure" would NOT fit this list. Can I remover it?"Lol!! I think that book has been removed now JLC:)
In the The Friend Zone H asks h to get married but then she says that they should wait. After that she at the end proposes to him.In Fallin In h proposes but not in a big way.
Talltree wrote: "Thanks Maya, I remember Fallin In but haven't read The Friend Zone yet - sounds awesome!!"The Frind Zone is one of my favourites by far, you won't regret reading it. It's also funny as hell. :)
I am on the fence with that depends on the situation. I prefer the hero to propose to the heroine before the heroine proposes to the hero.
Christine wrote: "I am on the fence with that depends on the situation. I prefer the hero to propose to the heroine before the heroine proposes to the hero."That actually happens , in
and like Maya says I think in
...H proposes first and then the h!!Personally i've read so many H's proposing to the h in so many ways - I'd love to see the h doing the proposing - as long as its clear that the H is crazy about her and would definitely accept!!
Sometimes reading about the unconventional path that breaks the cliche can be fun:)
Anything by Penny Reid is amazing. She makes you believe that the hero loves the heroine and only the heroine so in Friends Without Benefits that was okay. It felt like a natural thing to do for them. What I am reading now, the heroine does the same thing, but I KNOW 100% that the hero had every intention of proposing, but the heroine beat him to it. The Friend Zoned I read, but I do not remember one single thing about that book. LOL
This is a tough one. I know that I have read one or two like this, but I will have to search... Will be interesting to see this list grow.

I liked The Hookup a lot and am planning to read The Friend Zone but I hear it has the (view spoiler) thing which am really not a fan of, especially in YA/NA but still Gray was amazing in bk1 , so i'll get around to it. Sorry it was so unmemorable for you, lol!

JLC wrote: "Oh good! I thought I ruined your list. Sorry! I'll think on this one... & wear my reading glasses more. (I'm only 40. I wonder how blind I'm going to be in 10 yrs from now. Lordy!) "Lol! I worry about that too - even do those eye exercises hoping they will help keep away the old glasses...

I am going to think on this. But I am pretty sure Tyra does not propose to Tack in MC Man. She woke up in hospital with ring on...
CC wrote: "I am going to think on this. But I am pretty sure Tyra does not propose to Tack in MC Man. She woke up in hospital with ring on..."CC, i haven't read this one so can't say for sure but Ariana has it in her "She proposes" shelf so maybe the h does propose somewhere in book...?
Sure, please let me know if you can think of any books, sadly there don't seem to be so many books around that would fit on this list.
